About the Human, the Planet, and the Universe
In music and art festival IŠKROVOS'25
"About the Human, the Planet, and the Universe" is a cycle of three large-scale paintings (120×80 cm), accompanied by a ceramic object. While each piece stands on its own, together they form a unified narrative exploring these three perspectives.
The project examines human existence—from inner identity to the relationship with the environment and the vast, mystical cosmos. Through expressive color, symbolism, and emotion, I seek to capture a moment of release—when my inner world spills outward.

The Eternal Worship
Since ancient times, people have spoken to the sky – reaching out to a being or beings greater, deeper, older, and wiser than themselves. Some call it God, others – gods, energy, or simply existence. As someone who identifies as agnostic, I often sense a quiet, gentle observer in the ether – one who does not judge or interfere, but is simply probably there.
Lately, it feels as though this presence has grown weary from our cries, our pleas, our joys. It weeps – golden tears that settle onto our bodies like a soft mist. Calm and protective. Sometimes burning. It serves as a reminder that everything is temporary – and the most unsettling part is that both the good and the bad are equally fleeting.

Mini Worship
Accompanying this painting is a clay object titled “Mini Worship” – a miniature version of the universe. This entity, painted with fluorescent pigments that emerge through the dark surface, comes to life under UV light as an inner pulse – a reminder that the Universe, though silent, is still breathing, watching, and protecting.

KONNICHIWA LIETUVA
The heart of this work lies in the diversity, chaos, and beauty of our planet – inspired by a recent journey to Japan, a place both distant and, in a strange way, deeply familiar.
The Earth is a massive rock spinning through space at incredible speed, filled with surprises, fascinating people, beautiful nature, changes, and experiences. Every journey shifts our perspective, and every return home reveals how much we have changed ourselves.
With this painting, I invite you to greet the world as if you were a newcomer to the planet, seeing everything for the very first time. It is both a celebration and a deep reflection, an attempt to understand one’s place in the vast, lively formicary we call Earth.

DUALITAS HOMINIS
This painting explores the duality of a human being. Both masculine and feminine energy exists within each of us. The world is changing, social roles are blending together – a man cooks dinner while a woman chops firewood. This shift doesn’t threaten one’s identity – on the contrary, it expands it. Still, traditional social norms often impose expectations that can push us to suppress parts of ourselves or act against our natural instincts.
With this piece, I reflect on natural human diversity: softness and strength, independence and community, logic and intuition.
