MAD MARCH, 2024

This artwork was created over the month of March 2024 — a kind of visual diary, where each day is captured in a block of color representing how that day felt to me. The month unfolded chaotically, with many bright, sunny days at the start and much darker ones toward the end.
I hope viewers can sense the emotions I experienced and see how tumultuous that particular March was for me — almost like shadowing my therapy sessions.
As a digital illustrator, I rely on clean, uniform lines to contain my inner chaos, but when it comes to painting on real life canvas, that structure quickly fades away. Painting then becomes a safe space where I can embrace the mess within.
